To encourage the pupil to create good body alignment and club path?

Place 2 shafts parallel to the aim line either side of the ball to target line (1), the pupil should check their body lines are parallel to those lines (2).

Tick - Tock Tees

To encourage the pupil to develop consistent rhythm to the stroke and control the distance.

Set a number of tees equal distance either side of the ball (3 either side).
(1) Use the tees to mark the ?tick? and ?tock? of the stroke
(2/3) The pupil should develop the equal rhythm and feel for a shorter stroke for shorter putts and a longer stroke for longer putts. This could be used in conjunction with the One past the next drill.

Umbrella

To encourage the players to develop a feel for correct weight distribution

Place an umbrella or old club shaft in the ground next to the players leg that is nearest the target.

The players should make the stroke keeping the hip and leg next to the umbrella / shaft .

This should encourage steady weight distribution throughout the stroke.
