Works when A stands upright, and side on to the face of B, and holding a backward \ forward leg split. Upper body held in a Wide shape. Gymnast B stands side on to A, then squats down to place one shoulder between the legs of A, and to grasp the outside ankle of the lead leg of A. The outside arm of B is held high in order to grasp the upper arm of A, with their outside hand. Gymnast B now Squat lifts A on to one shoulder, to hold A in a split leg balance.
