Split the players into 2 groups of max 4 players (otherwise players have to wait to long) And a goalie in each goal. One of the teams starts by skating down the ice with the puck and tries to score in to the net. At the moment the shot is made. a Player from the other side skates down the ice to try and score in the net on the other side. The player that took the first shot has to try and react quickly and skate back to try and defend against the player trying to score. When the player loses the puck or gets off a shot the practice reverses again a new player from the original team starts to skate down the ice and the last player that shot has to try and get back to defend.
This is a very high intense practice and could be done for a certain amount of time. before the next 6 or 8 have a go. Each team should keep score and so you can organize a competition between the teams Have fun
