Is it possible to design a 8 week programme that can be repeated again and again that would cover everything that a competitive swimmer would need to progress.
Would a 8 week cycle provide enought variety, needed to provide stimulation.
MY squad currently train 5 times a week for a total of 7 hours and age from 11 to 15 year olds.
Also what percentage of the lessons should be Technique, stamina, and speed work.
I would like to make a programme that covers everything needed to progress my swimmers. That can be easily referenced, and used, hence finish week 8 then go back to lesson plan for week one. Thats why I am asking if 8 weeks is long enough.
