As the title suggest this is how we will set up at throw in (stoppages) around the ground.
Ruck - Jump at the ball trying to tap to our advantage or bring he ball to feet. Wing Man 1 and 2 - Both wingmen set up on the defensive side of the stoppage. Where the stoppage is on your side of the ground assume the potion directly behind the stoppage. The second wing man sets up in line with the other winger however he holds and protects the center of the ground. Important we do not fold in or get sucked into the contest. Hold your space until you are required to make a choice. Onballers (Center, rover ruck rover) set up around the ruck man. Dividing the imaginary circle around the ruck contest into three. High Half Forward - This is an important position this player plays a game of cat and mouse with the opisthions sweeper. We want our High half Forward to come up nd protect the offensive side of the stoppage. The game of cat and mouse is with two players your direct opponent and the sweeper. You are to set yourself up so where they opposition feeds back you can pounce on the sweeper and force the turn over. Ensuring that you are engaging your direct opposition player so he is not an option to b used. Where we win the stoppage you are then in a position to be our pivot (in front of the contest). Important we do not get sucked into the contest we must hold our space to be an option and outlet.
