
Warm-up Collingwood vs Carlton - Show students the area in which they will be doing activity. - Separate student into 2 even lines, each student standing next to a partner from the opposite team. - One side will be âCollingwoodâ and the other âCarltonâ. - Teacher yells out the name of either team. Whichever team is called, must attempt to run to their safe zone. The team which was not called must attempt to tag their partner. - Students may only tag each other on the torso, not legs or arms. Progression - Students feet must be touching each other. - Each time a student is caught, a point (/behind) is rewarded to the catcher. - Students handball the ball to each other, then on the teacherâs command âGoâ, whomever has possession of the ball must turn and run to their safe zone.
