
Basic set up as per Tall Forward Drill, with three runners just outside 50m line. Pockets lead out. Kick to same zone. Forward to spoil/create contest. Runners front and centre of contest, take ball from ground, attack toward goal. Works for Zone defence and when opposition flood.
Positioning the rest of the team outside 50m line gives the opposition no way of kicking out of defence. Once the mechanics of this drill are understood. Add opposition in zone defence and if possible, flooded defence. High kick to zone is a must. Full forward must get time to reach the contest. 15 Mins Total Time
