As well as focusing on players' touch we also work on speed, with and without the ball, movement when looking to receive a pass and communication.
The reason this session also works on communication is because often the real challenge for coaches isn't getting your players to communicate, they usually do plenty of that already at training. No, the real challenge is getting them to communicate whilst they're on the field!
To encourage positive communication the drills in this session have been designed to work better if your players communicate - the theory being if your players are able to communicate in practice then hopefully they'll also be able to bring that team-work to the pitch on match day!
