DESCRIPTION

  • To encourage the pupil to develop the correct angle of attack and contact.

    Encourage the pupil to make a number of rehearsal swings brushing the grass opposite and forwards of the ball (1). This brushing of the grass should then be repeated with the ball in the way (2).

    Encourage the pupil to set up ready to hit the ball then place another club shaft around a foot behind the object ball (1). This should encourage good ball contact, as the pupil will be required to strike downwards and discourage a ?scooping? action (2).
