Hockey: Support the Wall Pass

DESCRIPTION

One player passes the ball to his/her partner who wall passes the ball back to the 1st player to run onto. The same player then turns and does the same again. Swap after 10x.

switch attacking pattern | Passing & Receiving

switch attacking pattern:

Player 1 plays the ball across to 2, who in turn plays it up inside the cones to 3 who shoots at goal. Player 2 then moves to where 3 was and 3 joins the back of their queue.

As soon as player 3 has shot then 4 passes the ball across to 1, who plays it up the line to 6 who then shots. Player 1 then moves to where 6 was and 6 joins the back of their queue. Play then continues in this fashion.

Space pass:

Player 1 runs square across the pitch with the ball and then passes the ball into the space for the wide man to run onto the ball both sides. Then alternate sides.

Switch Pass ahead of player. | Passing & Receiving

Switch Pass ahead of player.:

Player 1 passes the ball to player 2, player 2 lets the ball roll across his/her body and opens up to pass the ball to player 3. Player 3 has to receive the ball on the move (important to keep the stick low to the ground).

Player rotation - 1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 1 after shot.

Space Pass:

Player has to pass the ball from one square to the other square. He/she is only allowed to control the ball inside the square and not outside.
