Executing an accurate pass to other team mates will make it easier for them to catch the ball which will make it trickier for the defence.
The ball can move faster than any player so executing a good throw is essential.
With a more accurate throw, it is hoped that pupils will begin to catch more too.
This would be taught as the second lesson when learning lacrosse. It can also be used as a recap lesson if players are struggling to throw accurately.
Make sure pupils aren't following through with their bottom arm under their armpit! You don't generate any power doing this!
