Teach your players to go direct with this attacking session, using short, sharp direct passes to improve your team's straight line ball technique.
What's in the session?
To get your players thinking about the quickest and most effective route to get the ball from A to B this session kicks off with a fun warm up game. We then get players to practice powerful passing, while also working on their speed and ability to drive to the ball.
To finish we play a game of "Two Ball Madness". This modified game is great to use as it gives players lots of opportunities to develop their straight line passes through the court and ensure every player goes home with a beaming smile on their face!
The session also works core netball such as speed, agility and decision making skills, with progressions for your more able players and conditions to develop you less able players.

The best Goal Defences in the 2026 NSL season are intercepting more than ever. The reason is not raw athleticism. It is a deliberate shift from chasing the attacker to driving into the flight path of the ball. Here is how to coach it.
