DESCRIPTION

1 Ball between two players.

One player feeds and catches the ball. The other player has to volley the ball back the other player using their instep while jogging both forwards and backwards (following the lead of the feeder).

Instep first touch - Stage 5:

1 Ball between two players. One player feeds and catches the ball the other player has to volley the ball back the other player.

Technique video

Attacking heading:

One feeder throws the ball up for the other player to try and head, back between the feeder's legs.

The feeder needs to stand with their feet apart and react quickly to the return header.

The heading player should keep their feet moving, being ready at all times to head the ball back with power.

Instep first touch - Stage 2:

1 Ball between two players. One player feeds and catches the ball the other player has to catch the ball and bring up the kicking foot next throw up the ball and kick it back the other player.

Instep first touch - Stage 4:

With one ball between two players the feeder throws the ball to the other player, just below their knee height.

The other player should pass the ball back into the hands of the feeder using a first time instep pass.
