Unforced errors are how games can be lost and won. Sometimes the player who wins the match isn't the one who played the best shots but in fact the one who consistently got their shots in the court. To help your players see that consistency is key to their game Sportplan has created the consistency rallying session, focusing on consistency within rallying and maintaining high concentration levels.
After coaching this session your would hope to see your players' unforced errors fall as their rallying play improves.
To make sure your players don't let a lack of shot consistency ruin their chances this session looks at getting your players to work on their forehand and backhand strokes, cross-court and up the line, with a focus on the getting the ball over the net. Working in threes your players will take it in turns to be the single man, covering the whole court they will have to complete a series of stroke patterns working their fitness and testing their concentration levels and shot consistency.
