Create a tunnel using cones with one person stood in the middle (the octopus). The idea of the game is for 5 people at a time to try and run past the octopus without getting tug. If they get tug, then they become seaweed, stood on the outside of the tunnel. Their job is to lean in and try to tig the children running past. The last few children left / last child left running is the winner.
Encourage good movement, changing direction, team work in order to get past the octopus and avoid the seaweed. Seaweed mustnât go inside the tunnel. Octopus has to stay inside the tunnel. Only send 5 children at a time to avoid any potential collisions.
