DESCRIPTION

Continuous warm up skating – Cross overs during the turns at the end of the circle, between blue lines, players will be told what to do, Go as fast as they can, Pivot to backwards, Hold one foot up, Low crouch (Sitting) and sculls. The Coach will call out what players need to do between the lines. Players will always do the ends forwards. Changing directions will be directed as well. Goalies will be doing one on one training with goalie coaches.

COACHING POINTS

Coaches on the blue line, push and encourage the kids to follow coaches instructions. Coaches make sure to direct kids and support one on one if needed. Push for speed and crossovers on the ends.
