DESCRIPTION

  • Setup the practice as shown.

    •  

    Players 1 and 3 dribble towards the wing, with player 4 setting a lateral screen for player 2. Player 2 comes off the screen and receives a pass from player 3 for a shot. Player 4 cuts to the ball and receives a pass from player 1 for a shot.

    Square-up Drill:

  • Setup the practice as shown.

    • Player 1 and player 3 perform v cuts, before receiving a pass, pivoting and shooting, get own rebound and change lines.

    Two Pass Lay up Drill | Shooting

    Two Pass Lay up Drill:

    Player 5 V cuts to the middle of the court Player 1 passes the ball and proceeds to cut to the basket 5 passes to 1, 1 performs a lay up, 5 rebound the ball.

    Elbow shooting drill | Shooting

    Elbow shooting drill:

    The group of players based on the halfway line start by running towards the elbow of the three point line.

    On receiving the ball the player should then shoot.

    The practice is then repeated on the other side of the arc.

    Slalom dribble then Jump Shot | Shooting

    Slalom dribble then Jump Shot:

    The players need to dribble the ball around the cones until they reach the last cone before excuting a jump shot.
