Basketball: Three man switch to shoot and score

DESCRIPTION

Player 1 starts with the ball in the middle of the court and plays the ball to player 2 who cuts in to the first cone.

Player 2 must then pass to player 3 who has also made a run inside to the other cone further up the court.

Player 1 in the meantime should loop on the outside behind player 2 to receive the ball back from player 3 and take a shot.

COACHING POINTS

Player 2 and 3 should follow up for any rebounds.

Players make good V cuts, receive pass from player with ball, assume triple threat position. Everyone rotate one spot clockwise.

Give and Go: V-Shaped Run:

Player 1 passes to player 2 (can be the coach) before making a run and then cutting to the next cone to receive the pass.

Player 1 then dribbles to the next cone before having a shot.

Three player rotation - Straight passing attack | Shooting

Three player rotation - Straight passing attack:

Player from the left (1) runs in the direction of the basket (cuts in) to receive the passhe cone from the middle player (2 )

At the same time the player on the right (3) has time his/her run to be able to receive the pass from player 1 at the 2nd cone nearer the basket.

After receiving the ball the player has to take a shot as soon as possible.

Chest Pass | Passing Technique

Chest Pass:

Starting with bent knees transfer the body weight upwards.

Move the ball in an upwards arc up the chest.

Extend the arms and make the chest pass level with your chest.
