DESCRIPTION

The down screen will happen away from the ball. The player receiving the screen will fake away from the basket and then back cut to the hoop where they will catch the ball and shoot a lay up.

The player setting the screen will pop back towards the ball.

Screen and Roll:

The dribbler will use the ball screen and take 1 or 2 bounces to get separation.

Once they have created separation the dribbler will make a bounce pass to the roller for a lay up.

Screen and Pass:

The dribbler will use the ball screen and take 1 or 2 bounces to get separation.

Once they have created separation the dribbler will make a bounce pass to the roller for a shot.

Screen and Slip:

The screen goes to be set on the dribbler, the screeners defender will hedge out early to stop the ball.

This is where the screener will slip directly to the basket for a lay up.

Phantom pick and roll drill:

Players stand in three lines, the players nearest the half-way line start with the ball in hand.

The blue players starts the drill by making the pass to the white players, and then sets the screen for the red player.

The red player then cuts off the top of the screen towards the ball. Meanwhile the blue player will reverse pivot and roll towards the basket.

The White players can choose to pass to either the red or blue player to have the shot.
