DESCRIPTION

Put the players in three lines, each line needs some balls at the front.

Player 1 makes a forward run to receive the ball from one of the players in the player 2 line. Player 1 receives the ball and shoots.

After player 2 has passed the ball they make a lead run to receive the ball from players in the player 3 line. Player 3, after passing, makes a lead run to receive the ball from player 1.

Players should change the line they stand in every time they restart.

OFTEN USED WITH...

Pass, run and shoot:

1) White 1 stands 10 yards from players.
2) Players pass ball to white 1 and run around the D; - white 1 lays ball off for each player to shoot.
3) Must be a moving ball.
4) Coach - angle of shot - technique and timing.

Shooting

Number Shooting - 1v1:

Number 2 groups of players from 1-5 and get them to stand on either side of the goal.

Call a number. The two players (one from each side) whose number was called race around the cones to enter the area.
When a player has entered through the gate the coach feeds the ball to the side where the first player has entered.
Player runs onto the ball and tries to score before the other player can make a challenge/block.

Shooting

Goals, Goals, Goals:

The players with ball stand by the middle cones.

Players in the middle begin to dribble towards the touch line, then on command of the player making the run play a reverse ball into space for the attacking player to run onto to score.

Shooting

Pass, support and shoot:

1) Player 8 plays to player 1 who returns the ballslightly wide. Running onto the wide pass player 8 passes the ball down the side to meet the diagonal run of player 4.

2) Player 4 shoots and player 1 makes a supporting diagonal run to the far post for rebounds.
