This week we reward your keepers with a session designed for goalies of all ages covering a variety of key skills, including: Dealing with Crosses, Speeding up Reaction Times, Developing Confidence and Agility
Standing between the sticks requires mental strength and intelligence. You need to be in the right position and able to read the cross/shot to ensure you time your move correctly to extinguish the threat.
To develop these shot-stopping skills this session has six practices designed to get your players diving, punching and parrying the ball to safety - reinforcing the correct positioning, the importance of quick reactions and the basic hand shape.
Use this session to give your keepers a well deserved run-out tonight!
