’Chalk Dust!’. A regular phrase said by an old school coach of ours, but one that resonated. Get some chalk dust on your boots and get as wide as possible to use the whole space on the pitch.
What’s in the Session?
The pitch is a big space and having the ability to use the whole space when in possession of the ball is a vital tool to be able to get on top of your opponents and create incisive attacks. Warm up with dynamic movements without a ball to get the players minds and bodies ready for a technical session that will work them mentally. The technical practices which follows really develops the players knowledge of how to switch play and when and what the benefits of the play are. The session starts passive and progressively builds into full practice, rewarding players to switch the play and utilise the space.
See your team develop into an expansive attacking unit.
