Gymnastics: Tuck Backward Roll Exit From Shoulder Balance from Box Top

COACHING POINTS

NB - Ensure head is placed on the end of apparatus and not over the end.

From shoulder balance at the end of box top.

Hands in backward roll placement (hands level with ears) grasp sides of bench or corners of the box top.

Lower knees to elbows to create inverted tuck shape.

Eyes see knees.

Kick toes to the floor while pushing from hands.

Land on the mat in a tuck position, keeping hold of apparatus for control.
