DESCRIPTION

Blue players pass and try to hit the cone the white player must protect by blocking the shots.

COACHING POINTS

catching
pay only attention to the complete technical movement

Only general corrections

- reach for the ball
- palms open
- make a W with your thumbs and index finger
- when caught move the ball towards your body to protect it

aiming/hitting

pay only attention to the complete technical movement

Only general corrections

- put your correct foot in front (left handers right foot, right handers left foot)

- put the ball onto your hand (do not squeeze into the ball)

- when throwing the ball and hand should pass ear height !

hit the bomb:

Two teams, every player has got aball.
Try to hit the heavy ball /cardboard box/cone in the center and try to get it over the line near the enemy team.
Success means one point.

Cone Ball:

Two teams stand at opposite ends of the area, each player has a ball, with a line of cones along the middle.

Standing at a distance from the cones (increase/ decrease distance dependant on players' ages) players take it in turns to throw and aim at the cones.

Each cone that a player hits is a point for their team. Once all the cones have been hit the team with the most points is the winner.
