DESCRIPTION

Teams try to hit eachother.
When hit you must go and act as a back/side court player.
Which team succeeds in hitting all the others ?

- center shot
- jump shot
- bounce ball

COACHING POINTS

aiming/hitting/passing
pay only attention to the complete technical movement
Only general corrections

- put your correct foot in front (left handers right foot, right handers left foot)
- put the ball onto your hand (do not squeeze into the ball)
- when throwing the ball and hand should pass ear height !

OFTEN USED WITH...

Hit the dragons tail:

White players must try to hit the last player of the 'dragon' (the four blue players in the middle are the dragon).

Players in the dragon hold each other's hips or shoulders and try to avoid the ball.

In order to hit the back of the dragon the white players must pass the ball quickly around the circle. The ball is not allowed to travel further than one player at a time.

hit the hoop:

Circles are drawn or hoops are hung on the wall.

These must be on several heights and give several scores.

Players should try to score as many points as they can in one minute.

Other possibility : big falling mat standing on one side, divedie this mat into several scoring areas with tape.

Cone Ball: Free for all:

All players have a cone they must protect within a half court area.

As a team players must dribble, pass and shoot to try and eliminate all of the opposition's cones.

The winning team is the first side to hit all of the other team's cones.

hit the player:

Blue players pass and try to hit the white players in the circle.

variations :
- only throw on legs
- when hit change positions with the person who hit you
- just throw with a bounce pass
- make distances larger
- blocking is not allowed
