DESCRIPTION

The blue players must try and dribble their ball from one side of the court to the other without having their ball snatched away by one of the defenders.

COACHING POINTS

Blue players must defend their ball when dribbling by keeping their hand between the ball and the opponent's hand when they hear the ball bounce the floor.

Defenders should attack their opponent from the side they are dribbling the ball.

Defender vs Attacker - 1 vs 1:

On the coach's call players from both sides try to dribble towards the goal as quickly as possible.

At the same time though a defender must try and prevent the attacker from getting a shot off on goal.

B dribble across the court.
R1 tries to snatch the balls.
When your ball is snatches you become a defender as well.

Perfecting the jump shot:

Depending on how many hoops are in front of them players run forward in a 1, 2 or 3 step rhythm and throw at the goal.

Players rotate to the right after each shot.

2:1 duels:

Attacker 1 dribbles towards the goal and is defended by defender blue 1 and tries to score a goal, if it is impossible to score goal, attacker 2 may help out.

Once done, they get their balls back and go to the other queue.
