DESCRIPTION

Pass from A to C who crosses with D.
D tries to shoot at the goal.
If this is not possible, he passes to B who shoots at the goal.

COACHING POINTS

A takes the position of B.
B takes the position of C.
C takes the position of D.
D takes the position of A.

Passes B1 - B2 who throws at the goal 8 times in succession.

Triple cross-over | 527 crossing

Triple cross-over:

Players work in groups of four and try to make the three passes as quickly as possible as they cross-over.

The starting player runs forward with the ball and passes the ball behind to the next player as their paths cross.

As they do so the player three should time their run so that they cross over with player two just as they receive the ball in time to in turn receive the ball. Player four also does the same so that they quickly receive the final cross-over pass from player three.

Cross and shoot!:

Players from both lines run forwards at the same time, with the ball carrier crossing over in front of the other player.

When the players cross over they should switch the ball between them as at this point they are blocking the goal keeper's view.

Once the other player has the ball they should shoot on goal before then collecting their ball and joining the back of the queue.

Cross and shoot under pressure.:

Players from both lines run forwards at the same time, with the ball carrier crossing over in front of the other player.

When the players cross over they should switch the ball between them.

At this point the player in possession should try and get around the defender to get a clear shot off on goal.
