DESCRIPTION

Pass B1-B4-B1, B2 screens R1.
B1 passes on the screen and passes to B2, who throws at the goal.

COACHING POINTS

screening :
- choose the right moment for putting the screen
- push yourself off your defender to get him unbalanced
- only use your body
- stand still when there is body contact with the attacker

1, frontscreen : you make contact with front part of the body : you cannot be played
2. backscreen : team mates can pass to you, so when screened get loose from defender immediately

Double trouble - Back screening:

Blue player 4 throws the ball wide to blue player 3 and receives the return pass. At this point blue player 1 should position themselves on the inside of red player 1 using the back screen.

Blue player 4 advances with the ball towards red player 1 and then runs to the right, making use of blue player 1's screen.

Blue player 4 should then set a back screen in front of red player 2 before passing to blue player, 1 who is now open and unmarked, for them to shoot on goal.

Set the screen - No getting past:

White player 1 plays a one-two pass with green player 1 and moves forward with the ball. At this point green player 2 should advance and position themselves in a front of blue player 1 in a front screen position.

Making use of the screen white player 1 makes a small dummy run towards their own goal and then quickly changes direction to run past the defender (making use of the screen).

White player 1 then carries the ball to the other side of the court and the drill is then mirrored on the other side.

Pass B2-B1 who runs forward in between R1 and R2.
Meanwhile B2 feints (dummy) as if he wants to go to the center, but runs to the wing.
B1 screens R1, pass B1-B2 who throws at the goal.
