DESCRIPTION

B1 throws at the goal.
Pass goal keeper to W3, who throws off.

COACHING POINTS

- Start for the fast break when ball is thrown at the goal.
- Goal keeper passes as fast as possible : only one step and throw.
- W3 runs to the throw off position.
- W1 and W2 close the gap, and should cross the throw off line at full speed.

OFTEN USED WITH...

fast throw-off:

B1 and B2 pass together.
One of them throws at the goal.
Pass goal keeper to R3.
R1 and R2 close the gap.
R3 throws off at the whistle of the trainer.

fast throw-off:

B1 throws at the goal.
Pass goal keeper to B3.
R2 and R3 run forward to close the gap.
B2 tries to intercept.

fast break wings:

Pass or goalshot by defender 2 at the goal.Keeper 1 passes to 1 who passes to 2 and goalshot.Defender 1 tries to intercept, steal, defend.

Fast Break - Combination Pass:

In this move the winger start with the ball and passes the keeper who returns the pass to the center back.

At this point the wing back and the winger both make a forward run. The wing back receives the pass from the center back and then passes the ball to the winger who has made a looping run behind them.

The winger completes the move with a shot on goal (no dribble before the shot allowed).
