Handball: Central Goal Game

Get your players dictating to their defenders who is in charge! Develop clever faints into their to sell them one way before going another to set up an attack or to have a go at goal themselves!

Two equal teams play with one ball in half the court.

Two players who are on neither team hold an elastic cord (or a spare bib/piece of material) to form a moving goal. These two players must run around the pitch, keeping the goal open (stretched out).

The aim of the game for the other players is to score a goal into this moving goal through use of a bounce pass.

Both teams need to defend their 3 hoops whilst trying put their ball into one of their opposition's hoops.

After scoring there is a change of possession.

Playing inside half a court at both sides there is a coned area about 2 meters deep.

Each team must attack the other team's zone whilst defending their own.

Aim of the game :

To try and bring the ball into the 'enemy' zone and make a try.

Playing inside a restricted area (inside the 6 or 9 metre line) two small teams try and keep possession of the ball for as long as possible.

The defending side should have more players than the attacking side.
