In this session we aim to highlight to your players that passing is the fastest option for progressing the ball up the pitch.
Designed with younger players in mind, this session gets your players moving the ball quickly up the pitch, communicating and working as a team.
What's in the Session?
Working in small groups throughout to promote communication and team-work we start with a wall pass warm-up, to get everyone moving and passing at speed before then moving on to a series of possession games! With more experienced players you can impose the 2 Second Rule from the start of this session - getting players to think ahead and plan where they can pass the ball before they receive the ball.
Encourage your players to work as a team and not dwell on the ball (2 second hockey) with this week's possession and passing session!
