Attackers (red players) work down the channel in 4s, working the runners left and right to create space.
Defenders are only allowed to defend along their line, marked out with 2 cones.
Attackers run in a diamond shape, onto the ball at pace. It's key the support do not get too flat and shoud all be involved.
Focus on pass target.
Players should try and remain in a diamond position as this provides 3 options of support.
The back support player should hold their depth as this allows them time to react to the ball carrier's action. The ball carrier should try and 'fix' the defender through footwork.
You can start with tackle shields however it is good to progress to full contact as this will force the ball carrier to make a quick decision, as they would do in a match.
