The ability to make a distance pass should be something that you develop with all players, you never know which player will find themselves in a position that requires them to change the point of attack over distance quickly.
A great number of passes that players execute during training will be over a short distance, but during the game players will be required to make medium to long passes, to attack space quickly. In most cases the ball travels faster than a runner, coach your players to utilise this during games to speed up gameplay and stretch your opponent's defence.
To help your team move the ball quickly this session develops your players' passing over medium to long-distance, building passing confidence, consistency and providing your team with another important tool in their attacking arsenal!
