Ultimate: Break Mark (Forehand Fake to Backhand Throw) 2

Here’s an example of the “Forehand fake to backhand throw” used in a game situation to throw against the marker

1. Ensure that you are balanced throughout the movement
2. Try to avoid putting your foot down in the middle; it should take a single step to perform this move.

1. Receiver 1 makes a cut underneath; Handler 1 throws them the disc
2. Just as Receiver 1 is about to catch, Handler 2 makes a short cut downfield
3. Receiver 1 passes the disc to Handler 2. This should be a very short pass.
4. Receiver 2 then cuts – this can be a cut towards the disc, away from the disc, a V cut, etc – and Handler 2 passes the disc

1. Use the same principles as “Throwing into space”; practice that one first
2. Set up with a receiver around 5-10m from the thrower
3. The receiver starts by running directly away from the thrower for around 5m
4. The receiver then turns and runs at a 45 degree angle towards and to one side of the thrower, who throws into space for the receiver to make a catch.  
5. The thrower only has one chance, so throw it early

1. Use the same principles as “V cuts under”; practice that one first
2. Set up with two receivers around 5-10m from the thrower
3. Receiver 1 starts by running directly away from the thrower for around 5m
4. The receiver then turns and runs at a 45 degree angle towards and to one side of the thrower, who throws into space for the receiver to make a catch.  
5. As soon as the disc is thrown, Receiver 2 runs directly away from the thrower
6. As the disc is caught by Receiver 1, Receiver 1 turns and runs at a 45 degree angle towards and to one side of Receiver 1, who throws into space for Receiver 2 to make a catch.
