Pass and Follow to Shoot

DESCRIPTION
Pass and follow drill with players focusing on hitting the target and practising shooting from both sides. Going alternately players pass up to the feeder on their side who lays the ball off to the side. The player then follows up the ball and shoot on goal. After the shot players collect their ball and join the back of the other line.

For the "Pass and Follow to Shoot" drill, the equipment needed includes:

  1. Footballs
  2. Cones to mark starting positions and paths
  3. Goals for shooting practice

Players will pass the ball to a feeder, follow up the ball, and then shoot on goal. After shooting, players collect their ball and join the back of the other line. You can find more details about this drill 1 here.
