Hi all, looking for some help boys are under 16s decent level but seem short of fitness. What percentage of 2 x 2 hour training sessions would be football v fitness ?Falling behind teams we were better than ?

Sorry I mean falling behind teams we were fitter than previously and I think I have the balance wrong
I assume you have 2 training sessions a week? 1 could incorporate fitness drills and conditioned small sides games via 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 etc and for your main drill start them off with a slow warm up, ball mastery for example, then up the intensity as you approach your main session exercise. Finish off with high intensity game.
For thefitness drills, rondos are a brilliant conditioned exercise. Then there are fitness work with cones, poles and hurdles. I`ll cancel back and give some examples
in more ways than one
