Attacking wise which i have found very effective is what england did at the world cup get the players in a line on the edge of the box as the corner taker starts to run they then break. While there in the line the corner taker will see a big gap between the goalkeeper and your attackers he/she should aim for that gap. When they break have one attacking the front post and one peels off to the back post in case the ball skips all the way through. With the line breeak it confuses some defenders because they dont know who to mark we have scored a fair few goals from this set play. I dont mind drawing you up a drill for this. With defending theres not really alot you can do other than ensure someone is on that front post and close marking.or watching the runs and making sure your player gets to that ball first and knowing where to clear it. Hope this helps
great help Chris thanks

Set pieces account for roughly a third of all goals in football, yet many coaches spend surprisingly little time coaching defensive organisation at corners and free kicks. This article compares zonal and man marking systems, explores hybrid approaches, and provides a practical session structure for building set piece resilience into your team.
A player's first touch determines everything that follows: whether they can play forward, turn, or simply retain the ball. This article explores why training first touch in isolation is not enough, and how to design sessions that develop this critical skill under realistic game pressure.
