having issues with defence and midfield moving forward together when attacking any session out there to help . thanks
Moving forward together is all about communication. It is the defenders jump to push the team up the field when attacking. I would give the responsibility to one of your centre backs to call the line and that means pulling all defenders up the pitch when your team is going forward. This will also help the midfield to move forward.

Coaching u9s, I talk a lot about the importance of defenders 'linking up' to the midfield in attack. Two notes: (1) you should also direct your keeper to come off the line and to the front of the penalty box as this helps push up your defenders, and (2) it helps to explain that once the ball is lost in mid field your defenders are close by to regain possession within seconds.
