My players are too nice on the pitch, how can I make them more competitive?
hi, my players are a bit too nice on the pitch and don't get stuck in enough.How can i change them to be more competitive on the pitch?
Maybe try punish/reward system during practice. It should get them to be more competitive so they should automatically be more competitive in a real match.
For example, losing team runs 2 laps, or losing team carries the winners back to the locker room, or something like that.

Last season we had a points based system in each match for all players, and awarded points for goals, assists, clean sheets, pass of the match, tackle of the match , golden moment, hardest worker, and if they won then all points were doubled. All kids nowadays can relate to and enjoy fantasy football. In fact the kids were more interested in this table than the actual real league table lol.

I like Wayne`s idea! Not too sure about making them run laps if they lose?! Should try to avoid making running look like a "punishment" because at the end of the day... we need them to enjoy RUNNING around the pitch for them to be effective!
