Can you give me some handball attacking set piece patterns (reset from the GK) for my team's 3-3 formation for 13 year old students?
Good Morning, here are some set-piece patterns you could use with your team:
Pattern 1: Fast Break
1. GK to Wing: Goalkeeper passes to wing (W1 or W2).
2. Wing Drives: Wing dribbles forward.
3. Options:
- Pass to pivot (P).
- Pass to center back (CB) for a shot.
- Wing shoots if open.
Pattern 2: Cross Play
1. GK to CB: Goalkeeper passes to center back (CB).
2. Wing Cross: Wings (LW, RW) cross paths.
3. Options:
- Pass to crossing wing.
- Pass to pivot (P).
- CB shoots if open.
Pattern 3: Double Pivot
1. GK to Wing: Goalkeeper passes to wing.
2. Double Pivot Setup: Pivot (P) and another player (P2) create options near goal.
3. Options:
- Pass to pivot (P or P2).
- Pass to CB for a shot.
Pattern 4: Screen and Roll
1. GK to CB: Goalkeeper passes to center back (CB).
2. Screen: Pivot (P) screens for wing (W).
3. Options:
- Pass to rolling wing.
- Pass to pivot (P) if open.
- CB shoots if open.
Pattern 5: Overload One Side
1. GK to LW: Goalkeeper passes to left wing (LW).
2. Shift: CB and RW move left.
3. Options:
- LW to CB, then CB to RW for a shot or pivot (P) pass.
- Switch play if defense collapses.
These concise patterns focus on quick transitions, creating space, and providing multiple passing options for effective attacks in a 3-3 formation.
I hope this helps,
Cam
