If you are playing a team that mainly has tall players and they are good
shooting from out of the box area that is they shoot from the nine meter
area, what is the best way of defending them given that your team has
relatively shorter players.

Dear Volcanoes, Attacking is the best defense ! Mostly tall players are not so agile and are moving more slowly than your fast smaller players. Try out to train on fast feet and choose an offensive defense system like 3%3A2%3A1 or even 3%3A3. With these defensive systems you are able to react or even anticipate on the taller opponents. Attack the players far from the box, so that they are not even able to jump for a goalshot. Please let me know if you are sucessful. Good luck. Roland
