how do i get an u12 girls team to work together in a game,if i have tried most drills already??????
I coach an under 12s team and although in training we do lots of passing and shooting drills, using both feet, when it comes to a game situation (in training or on Sunday) they all go back to only kicking using their stronger foot.

Hi guys new to the site and really impressed. I've just took over my first ever managing job of a u'8s boys team. What would be good drills to start with for passing, defending, shooting as I know the could get easily board.
Every time my get the ball they will always kick it long and give straight to the time where as they need to gert it and pass. Can any one help?
During a match, my team seem to stand back and let the other team take control. Is there anyway I can get them to be first to the ball and compete to win?
What is the best warm up routine for U9 boys before a game? Thanks Coach Heath

How would you encourage your players to start talking to each other during game? This lack of communication at times is a hinderance to their overall play
We have a group of 10 year olds (10 of them) and wanted to make our scrimmage more effective by working forwards and defenders at the same time.My thought was to have 2 teams%3A team 1/forwards%3A score on goal and team 2/defenders that get a point for regaining the ball.Any better ideas?
I have a fantastic group of U12's (9 a side), who I encourage to play with the ball on the floor, quick passing football. We are a very attacking minded team, but that is our weakness - we need to remember that we do not have 8 strikers.Does anybody have any drills or tips for making sure that midfielders remember midfield?
Small sided game, Ariel control session
There are a number of pupils in my class that don't know the basic skills needed to play football, they lack the skills needed and the discipline. Because of that I'm asking if any of you have some ideas what to do? Ideally I need ideas on what to do to help get my class into shape and to start learning the basics.
I started coaching about year ago in local club with solid youth base. Some of the sessions I run by myself and I want to encourage decision making and creativity in midfield. My goal is to make at least one or two players who will be very good with ball in their feet and who will make others better, simply playmakers. I am trying that with some talk in and after training beside some drills and SSG's. Can you share with me some advices how to succed in that?
I have been tasked with doing a SSG called Ariel Control. What is this and do you have anything to cover this. Or as someone had this before and can you help..?
