Fast Hands-Half Goal

Goalkeeper starts on the near post after every service. A ball is played from server 1 for server 2 to do a side foot volley. Server 1 should have a good supply of balls to keep server 2 supplied with volleys. NOTES: Allow the goalkeeper time to recover to the feet. If the server is struggling to play side foot volley then S2 can serve from a volley out of the hands

Goalkeeper stood in front of two servers, all facing the same way towards the rebound net. Servers take it in turns to throw the ball into the rebound net. GK makes the catch and gets ready for the next serve. If a rebound net is not available use a wall or get a player to perform side foot volleys into the GK.

Working in pairs one player feeds whilst the other player is the returning player who heads the ball back to the feeder's hands. However, the returning player must have their wits about them as they need to listen out to the feeder's call. The feeder has three calls - Feet, attacking and defensive. Depending on the call the heading player must perform a different sort of header.

The goalkeeper then uses one hand to push the ball back to server 2.Server 1 volleys then goalkeeper gets a serve from the opposite side from server 3.NOTE:Start slowly and then increase the pace so the goalkeeper is working as fast as they can whilst still making sure of the catch from server 1.

Both players face each other on either side of a line drawn between 2 cones (10 metres apart). Both players must stay on their own side of the imaginary line. Player 1 starts with the ball and to score a goal he/she must stop the ball against one of the two cones. If the ball crosses the line or player 2 puts a foot on the line next to the cone before player 1 touches the ball against it, then possession changes to player 2. Play for 1 minute then change.

Set up two lines of players as show in the image, about 30m from the goals. The first player dribbles with the ball at pace and then puts their foot on top of the ball, to leave it dead in front of the other player. The first player continues their run around the cone in front of them and then runs back inside the area. The receiver uses a positive first touch to move into space and then try to finish through one of the wide goals. The first player should have continued their run and now tries to put pressure on the receiver's shot.
