In this drill, the player improves balance of the right leg. Sliding on clay-court forces the player to use more open stances so they have to prepare physically to do it effectively. Without proper balance, the player will make many unforced errors so it is crucial to look at the stroke from different perspectives. More advanced players can try to close eyes and keep balance on one leg.
