The coach is in front of the player, who stands on the right leg. The coach points direction with the arm, and the player jumps in a given direction on the right leg.
In this drill, player works on strength and balance at the same time. Repetitive jumps on one leg check players' ability to maintain high level of movement even whilst being tired. This drill helps to improve forehand open stance groundstroke, backhand close stance groundstroke and backhand volley.
