Coach feeds an easy ball to the advantage side. Player runs around and hits forehand inside out. Player runs forward to take proper position at the net. Coach feeds another ball to the deuce side. Player finishes with forehand drop volley cross court.
Modern tennis is based on the forehand stroke so players should take advantage of this stroke as often as possible. Coaches should emphasise that every short and easy ball should be hit with the forehand. Secondly, coaches have to explain that depth on the approach shot is important to put opponent behind the baseline and then finish the point with short volley.
