
1st Drill - Help the athletes understand the shape that is needed to do a handstand correctly and keep a center of balance, we will then go into detail on the prep for the move which is a long lunge. 2nd Drill - We will use a wall, face away and walk our feet up the wall into a handstand shape to simulate the actual move and the feeling they will have to overcome. 3rd Drill - Complete the move using the main shapes and the correct technique, athlete`s can use support or each other for assistance whilst trying to hold it for as long as possible. Provide feedback throughout the drill ands a explain in depth what every thing is and why the athletes are doing the drills.
