DESCRIPTION

Select and Link one of each of the following to form a phrase.

Option to select a different piece of apparatus for each idea. Ideas can be linked in any order.

  • Hurdle Step on to apparatus with Jump or Rebound to a Shape or with Half Twist exit 
  • ‘Headstand Sandwich’ 
  • Squat Vault or Straddle Vault - any progression 
  • Bridge - any progression/variation 
  • Forward Roll in Tuck Shape - any progression 
  • Cartwheel - any progression

Backward Roll through Fish Flop | Key 3 Content Linkage

Backward Roll through Fish Flop:

  • Start in a long sit position and bring legs over the head with the hands by the ears to form an invertd pike.
  • Beat the legs upwards from the inverted pike taking the weight on bent arms.
  • Allow the hips to pass over the head and take the weight on the top chest.
  • Allow the legs to 'flop' down into a front support position

    Straddle Forward Roll to Straddle Sit | Key 3 Content Linkage

    Straddle Forward Roll to Straddle Sit:

  • Start standing with legs apart and arms horizontal.
  • Reach forward and push the back of the hands along the floor, as far as possible, back through the legs.
  • Roll on to the back maintaining a straddle shape.
  • Roll forward into a straddle sit.

    Back Straddle Roll reverse to Forward Straddle Roll | Key 3 Content Linkage

    Back Straddle Roll reverse to Forward Straddle Roll:

  • Start in Long Sit and straddle rock back.
  • Roll back to straddle support.
  • Roll forward in straddle to Long Sit.

    Linked Balances:

  • Table Shape to Knee Scale to Forward Roll to Long Sit to Shoulder Balance to Back Roll exiting to one knee and Straight Knee Scale.
