DESCRIPTION

B pass around and try to pass to pivot W1.
R1 and R2 run forward to defend their back court players and sprint back to defend pivot W1.

COACHING POINTS

running forward to defend
- small, fast steps
- never jump
- stand diagonally, face towards the ball
- arms open, wide, high
- on fore feet, knees slightly bent

turning
- leave foot which is closest to the goal on the floor and turn on it to the direction you want to go to
- turn until attacker is in front
- arms slightly bent forward
- on fore feet

getting back into defence
- small, fast steps
- sprint back, don't use side steps
