DESCRIPTION

  • Player performs kangaroo jumps.
  • Player should bring knees as close to the chest as possible.

COACHING POINTS

This drill not only improves strength and power but it is also a good test for player. To perform this exercise correctly player needs good strength of legs and core. If player is not able to bring knees to the chest it means that he has limitations in strength. It is clear indicator of necessary work for the next weeks because playing tennis without solid physical preparation can lead to minor and major injuries.
